I am not a "group" person...

We get it - this is very normal!

We used to offer both group and 1:1 coaching. However, the group is by far THE BEST way to lose weight for the last time. If you are nervous, you are more than welcome to can hang back and you do not need to engage right off of the bat. Trust me though, after a week or two you will feel right at home.

That is one of the best parts of being in the group, it is extremely disarming. You will feel like you belong in no time. You will feel safe and feel surrounded by women just like you. You will know that your seemingly scary and “embarrassing” challenges are NORMAL.Since we are all going through the same things, you will hear about all the challenges and celebrations everyone else is going through. When others share challenges you will see yourself in them and you will then be armed with strategies to overcome the very same challenge now or in the future.

When others share celebrations you will naturally use them as motivation and inspiration. You will know that if it is possible for them, it is possible for you. There is no room for compare and despair in the room and if you notice your brain falling into that trap you will have the opportunity to clean it up through coaching and forever be free from compare and despair. How many people are in the group?

The group will be about 25-35 depending on the quality of applications we receive. I have found that this is the sweet spot, numbers wise. We don't want the group to be too small and we don't want it to be too large. If it is too small, not enough challenges arise, we want challenges to arise because then I can give you specific strategies for exactly how to overcome those challenges. The more challenges that arise among the group, the larger your tool box and the sharper the tools. You are ARMED and ready to go when you have seen all the challenges that could possibly get in your way!

Subsequently, if it is too small we don't see as many celebrations, we want to see a lot of celebrations because when other yummy mummies are celebrating it is evidence that you can do it! It is inspiring and motivating. It shows us it really IS possible.

The group becomes a true mastermind - meaning all of our minds together create mastery. Each mind is unique, smart and creative. So, not only do you use my mind to your benefit and growth, you also get the minds of others walking the same path you are walking.

I heard the mention of “no flour no sugar” several times. Is that what you teach? I tried that with Whole 30 6 years ago and that’s honestly what started this spiral. Do you eliminate food groups?

While some clients choose to do that, it’s not necessary. I teach that all foods are neutral. I definitely don’t teach you to remove food groups (although I will say sugar and or flour are not food groups 😉). I also teach you how to create a protocol you love and can follow AND one creates weight loss.

No sugar and or no flour can make it easier for your hunger hormones (and all other hormones!) to come into balance and make weight loss easier on your body. It also helps to eliminate cravings and emotional hunger. My clients that have done this are obsessed with it and they still enjoy a “joy eat” once in a while.

BUT it’s my no means required. If you do decide to try to let go of some foods that might not be serving you, I can help you with your mindset so that you never feel like you’re spiraling and instead teach you to feel like you’re in full control (which is the best thing ever!), it will lead to you at your dream weight, loving your body and FREE!!!!

I have found that when my clients DECIDE that this is what they want and what they are doing no matter what before they talk to their partners, then their partners often meet them with the same conviction and are on board, wholeheartedly.

I have also noticed that when my clients are unsure, their husbands meet them with the same hesitation and uncertainty.

Ultimately, if this is what you want, and only you can decide that, you will figure out a way to work it out. You will.

So many of my clients have wanted this very badly, but in the beginning they didn’t think there was a way, but then got creative and figured it out as if their life depended on it, because, well, as they will tell you, it kind of does.

It is not the right time…

I bet you can guess what I am going to say here. There is never a right time.

IN FACT, I want you to sign up for this when you HAVE vacations planned, when you there are holidays back to back, when life isn’t normal.

I don’t want you signing up for this when you have some pristine container of time.

I want you signing up for this when your life is happening and full. You must learn to lose weight for the last time when your real life is happening so that you can lose the weight for the last time!

It is also one of the many reasons 6 months is the perfect amount of time to lose weight for the last time. We MUST bring up the vacations and holidays and birthdays and girlfriends weekends so we can create a way of being within our life.

We do not want to change our lives. We want to live our lives and do them to the full extent at our natural weight. We want the YMX to serve us, we do not want to be a slave to the YMX. You will learn how to be at your dream weight while doing life. AND you will see, it is MORE fun this way, not less fun!

If you are reading this this means this is the right time. Your weight can’t wait any longer. Your life can’t wait any longer.

I don’t have the time….

Your weight is taking up so much time and space ALREADY.

Investing in ENDING this will cost you LESS time now and overall.

You do have the time. You do, in fact, have the time.

Don’t believe it? Just check your screen time on your phone.

What if you just spent your screen time on your forever weight loss? Just for 6 months?

Make this the most important thing so that eventually you no longer have to spend time and energy on it. Ever again.

I know you say that it is guaranteed and you get your money back if you do not lose weight. Do you have any data or any info you can share on clients that were successful during the program, but when all the support is taken away, ultimately fell back into their old ways?

If you follow what I teach, you will lose weight for the last time - as in forever. I have an entire module on "The Yummy Mummy for Life" where I teach you what to do for the rest of your life - literally. Everyone that keeps doing what they have been doing (which is VERY EASY and SIMPLE) keeps the weight off. My clients tell me that the YM Method is the easiest thing they have ever done to lose weight and of course the best part is that this method is actually permanent.

I have several podcasts with clients that have come on year/ years later. I can't force you to keep doing it just like I can't force you to brush your teeth, ultimately you can do what you want. After you learn what I teach, you will see how impossible it is to fall back into old ways - "falling back" is a "thing that is not a thing" after you learn the YM method. The only reason you would gain weight is because you would CHOOSE to do it on purpose, just like if you stopped brushing your teeth. You will build the habits that make your long term success inevitable.

I know this is something I need and want, but after many attempts at permanent weight loss, and knowing myself, I have reservations.

Oh I soooo understand. Every single one of my yum mums has reservations. (I did too when I went on my journey!) Everyone has a past, likely, similar to yours. Don't use your past as evidence as to whether or not you can be successful in the future, there is just no upside, it is SO valid BUT it is irrelevant in terms of your future success - I promise. This concern is exactly WHY you should sign up, you will need me to hold the belief for you while you learn to believe in yourself again.​

Do you do private one on one coaching?

​No. I used to do a lot of one on one coaching. However, after testing one on one coaching vs group coaching, the results are just better in doing this work TOGETHER. More problems and challenges arise which means you get more strategies and tools. When other yum mums bring up issues, you will most likely see yourself in their issues and then get a big ah - hah, it is oftentimes something that you were too scared to bring up, or didn't even know you were struggling with, you will even get strategies for future situations that will arise for you, ahead of time, because someone brings it up this week and then it comes up for you in say 3 weeks, the viola, you know exactly what to do. You also get more inspiration and motivation this way, you can see that it really IS possible and it is just way easier to believe. Lastly, it is important to NOT feel alone in the challenges - and you will not, you will feel held and like your problems are SO normal. Trust me, you will LOVE the group. I travel a ton for work and I’m hoping the work and practices you put it place will work with a busy schedule...This is so normal! Omg do they ever! We are all crazy busy, I have every kind of client from the C-Suite to actresses to stay at home mamas, we all have very full plates and one job is as wild as the next. I do NOT teach meal prep or excessive working out or counting. I teach you how to live your CURRENT life and weigh what you want.

I have some travel coming up and I am nervous to miss the second call, what should I do?

I will require that you to schedule in the time to watch the recordings in the onboarding week (week of Jan 23rd) when you know you will miss. I also have had plenty of clients that can't come to ANY meetings live and they still lose weight for the last time. You actually don't want to do a program when you have a "pristine" time frame with no events because then you won't know how to keep the weight off. You HAVE to do this when "normal life" is happening.

Do you find the homework you require daily/weekly is sustainable for 6 months? I suppose the hope is that is sustainable for a lifetime.

Yes! It is very much sustainable! I teach you how to do the YM Method forever. After the 6 months is over you are asked to spend 5 minutes a day on your health, kinda like you would on brushing your teeth. After testing it, 6 months is the perfect container to make sure we have enough life events to work through so that you can handle anything.

Also, is the 6 months all we need?

YES! You will have every tool you could possibly need to lose weight for the last time.

Are there additional courses? If so, what is the financial commitment beyond the first 6 months?

What is the basic nutrition plan you use… I can lose weight on low-carb, but I just can’t stick to it, so I don’t want to do that again. Is it mainly portion control? Or?

​I teach blood sugar balance and hunger hormone balance. We will create a custom protocol that works for YOU, that balances your hunger hormones through blood sugar balance which makes it easy to release weight in a sustainable and permanent way. My clients LOVE their unique, individualized protocols because they work, they feel good in their bodies, they are energized, and they weigh what they want. Many clients want me to just give them their protocols, to give them a prescription, a diet, BUT that does not work in the long run (we have all tried this!). What does work is when we co-create your plan. You must have buy-in on your plan, otherwise you will rebel and quit. This is how the human brain works. This is one reason diets have not worked in the past! You must know why you are doing what you are doing. You must be the authority while I am the expert and help you along the way. I will give recommendations for sure and we will find what works best for you so it won't even occur to you to quit.​​

Q: It sounds a bit too good to be true. I am not that good at reading my body’s signals, so not sure that I can create my own plan on a group call…. I can get to the part where I know I’m not really hungry. Then I just eat it anyway. UNLESS, I’m doing something super structured (low-carb or WW) which is easy to follow, but I can only last a few months.​

A: Such a good question!! I love it!

Maybe you can eat an ice cream bar every night and still lose weight for the last time? I will teach you how to test this.​

Maybe boredom is not a problem that needs to be solved with ice cream? I teach you how to handle boredom.​

This is not a diet. I mean you could call it that if you want. But what I teach is forever.​

What IS joy? Is it ice cream? Is it feeling good in your body? Maybe you can have both. Maybe you can't.​

My guess is there is more joy to be had when you are done with all of this. This is what my clients find to be true, that there is MORE TRUE joy on the other side of using food to solve boredom or provide fleeting joy. It is BETTER not worse. It is a win win.​

This all depends on what you want. If you want real joy, freedom from diet culture and food + body drama, and to weigh your dream weight, this is your program.​

Q: I think my problem is that I’m wasting too much time feeling unhappy about my body. I’m tired of thinking about what to eat and I already know every diet theory backward and forwards. I really wish I could just feel good about my body at this weight, but I know that losing (again) about 15 pounds makes me feel so much better. (Although, even when I get to my lowest, I’m always thinking that just a few more pounds would really be great.) I’m also thinking PLEASE DON’T SCREW IT UP.

And then I screw it up.I really just don’t want to waste any more time thinking about weight/ weight loss. But, I’ve really tried so many things - and every time I think this will be the one that works ‘forever.’ I’m 46 - I just don’t know if I can really stop eating mindlessly when I’m sad/bored/happy/celebrating/rebelling/any emotion possible. I remember this one time losing about 15 pounds and being SO happy I decided to treat myself to a chocolate croissant….

I want to feel good about myself and live a big life with friends and family. I want to be fearless when I go out or on vacation that I can be satisfied food-wise, but also not overeat.​​​

A: Don't beat yourself up. You simply haven't been taught all that you need to be taught (neither had I! - no one has - no wonder it is such a problem in our culture!) to make it permanent. Most of my clients know everything about every diet. I even have doctors, nutritionists and dietitians that do my program. This program isn't about more more knowledge on nutrition necessarily, it is about: hormones, mindset, feeling feelings, accountability, habit change, fun and love. Your past literally has nothing to do with your ability to be successful in the future. I promise. Everything you want IS available to you and I can help you get there. It will be simpler than you think.
